THE FAILED REPUBLIC

In august 29 1989 two political parties were formed by gen. babangida SDP and NRC Social Democratic party National republican convention.
Chief MKO Abiola won the presidential election in june 12,1993 but in a dramatic twist gen ibrahim babangida annulled the election.which is adjuged to be the freest and fairest election held in nigeria.this caused the abortion of the republic.
